The robot

Platform and Motor Controller

The robot's platform is a pre-assembled tracked platform from DFRobot. The DFRobot Romeo motor controller is attached to the tracked platform with electrical tape. The motor controller and platform run entirely on six AA batteries.
A Nexus One is used to control the robot. At this point in development, only remote control is supported, and only Android 2.1 devices can run the code. Later, the code will be backported to Android 2.0.
